How to scan documents using an iPhone:
Open notes and create a new note.
Tap the camera image, then tap Scan Documents.
Place your document on a table in good lighting, in view of the camera on your device.
If your device is in Auto mode, your document will be automatically scanned. If you need to manually capture a scan, tap the circle on the screen to take an image or press one of the Volume buttons.
Drag the corners to adjust the scan to fit the page, then tap Keep Scan.
You can add additional scans to make a multi-page document by capturing another scan, or tap Save when you're done.
if you want to share this scan, tap the document, then tap the box in the top right of the screen with and arrow pointing up. You can choose to share it in an email by tapping the mail app that you use.

How to scan documents using an Android/Samsung:
Open the Google Drive app.
In the bottom right, tap Add (the plus symbol).
Tap Scan (the camera symbol) .
Take a photo of the document you'd like to scan.
Adjust scan area: Tap the Crop symbol.
Take photo again: Tap Re-scan current page (the arrow symbol)
Scan another page: Tap Add (the plus symbol).
To save the finished document, tap Done (the check mark).
If you want to share the document, open the document, press the three circles in the top right corner, then choose how you would like ot share.
